Summit Huts Association is a volunteer-based organization. We are always looking for people willing to help us fulfill our mission and maintain our huts.

Volunteer opportunities typically include physical labor, such as wood splitting and stacking, maintenance projects and cleaning. Some projects are overnight and volunteers are welcome to stay the night at the hut during volunteer projects. Volunteers are responsible for personal items and food.

Space is limited on all volunteer days, you must reserve your space in advance by emailing Summit Huts at karen@summithuts.org and letting us know which date(s) you are interested in. That’s also how to get in touch if you have questions about volunteer dates or volunteering in general.

Please note volunteers must be at least 16 years old for heli day and 12 years old is preferred for all other volunteer dates.

Benefits of Volunteering

  • Volunteers will earn one FREE night stay with a guest in any of the Summit Huts Hutmasters Quarters for each day of volunteer work.
